The second round of the California Humanities Relief Grants application is now open. Apply here.
Relief Grants between $5,000 and $20,000 will provide public humanities-focused organizations, based and operating in California, with unrestricted funds that can be used for urgent needs resulting from COVID-19 in order to support the continued implementation of public humanities programming. Applications will be accepted from August 25 to September 15 and a decision will be made by October 15.
Eligible organizations must demonstrate a track record for supporting rich and engaging public humanities work that is accessible to the people of California. Please see the Relief Guidelines and FAQ documents for further details. If you applied during Round 1 and did NOT receive an award, you may apply again.
