OCEANSIDE—Come create alebrijes with En Mi Palma and prepare the community ofrenda that will be displayed at John Landes Community Center to commemorate Día de los Muertos. We invite you to participate in this Mexican tradition by sharing photos of your loved ones to put on display.

Bring your stories and photographs to scan and document with Hill Street Country Club. These scans will be added to a community scrapbook created by and for the Landes community at our Visual Analogies: Día de los Muertos Mixer on 11/1.

All ages are welcome. No registration is required.

This is the first program in Oceanside Public Library’s Community Connections: Honoring Samoan and Mexican Culture at Landes event series, starting this fall. Join us in celebrating the Samoan and Mexican communities living in Tri-City Oceanside!
