OAKLAND—Join a special screening of FOR OUR CHILDREN (formerly Black Mothers Love & Resist), followed by a Q&A with the filmmaking team and our protagonist Wanda Johnson, the mother of Oscar Grant. The film follows a group of mothers behind the Black Lives Matter, rooted in Oakland, and highlights the legacy of community organizing here in the Bay area. This will be a special night with the mothers, the filmmaking team, and the broader community.
