Photos: California Humanities in Motion: A Rock ‘n’ Roll Fête featuring Fanny

On February 8, 2023, we gathered in San Francisco with friends and supporters to celebrate rock ‘n’ roll icons Fanny and the California Documentary Project-supported Fanny: The Right to Rock, as well as longtime California Humanities’ President & CEO Julie Fry, who embarks on a new adventure in the spring.

At the historic One Kearny Club, we enjoyed a special performance by Fanny band-mates June Millington, Jean Millington, and Brie Darling, joined by Jean’s son Lee John (and Julie for one song!). Thank you to all who supported this special event and our work championing the public humanities across the state. You can continue to support the work of California Humanities by making a tax-deductible donation here.
